Cunca Polo Waterfall is one of the waterfalls located in West Manggarai Regency that is still rarely visited by tourists. If you are travelling to East Nusa Tenggara, especially in the West Manggarai Region, Cunca Polo can be a great tourist spot for you to visit.
The water at Cunca Polo is clear and clean, and it's great for swimming and other activities. The waterfall is surrounded by rock cliffs.
What makes Cunca Polo Waterfall special?
The waterfall is surrounded by trees and offers a cool, exotic atmosphere.
Cunca Polo waterfall is around 40 metres high and has three sections, so it looks like the water is flowing down steps. You can also swim above the water in a natural pool at the first section, which is a great experience.
Cunca Polo Waterfall has three natural pools where you can swim or bathe. In the uppermost waterfall section, you can soak and swim, but jumping is not allowed. In the lowest arrangement, you can feel like you're bathing near the foot of the waterfall and do jumping activities from the cliff around the foot of the waterfall. Just be sure to swim or jump at least three metres from the foot of the waterfall.
If you visit Cunca Polo waterfall between 11:00 and 12:00, you'll see a beautiful rainbow. This is caused by sunlight refracting through the splashing waterfalls.
You can easily get to Cunca Polo by following a path (footpath) that the community uses to access the garden and other activities. This path takes about 30 minutes to walk and we start our journey on foot from Nggeleng hamlet, Dunta village.
Cunca Polo waterfall is a great place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It's also ideal for finding peace when your loved one is away.

It takes about 2-3 hours to get to Cunca Polo waterfall, which is about 77 km from the capital city of West Manggarai, Labuan Bajo.
